On a sidenote: I don't know if anyone here has read the Wheel of Time series. But Aroura, when you mentioned Gwendolyn Christie, I could not help but bring up that I picture her for a character in that book series by the name of Birgitte. Quite interesting, really.
Squeeee!
Sorry, I'm in a funny mood. I <3 WoT too! Jordon did suffer the same problem as Martin, as well. Great first few books, but starts to meander into too many side stories as he progressed. Not to mention the issue with not finishing their own work, letting someone else do it for them. Of course poor Jordon died so I'm thrilled he was able to pass on the work to be finished at all, but Martin has no such excuse....yet.
Yes, I think Christie would make a great Birgette. I'm excited even to see her in the new Star Wars when it comes out. And I agree, she is beautiful! But that makes it even more tragic in the show in a way, because it's her SIZE alone that makes her ugly to most men/guys, not her face. Plus she's doing a great job looking like she feels ugly, great acting for that, know what I mean? I know in the books she's uglier, but so is Tyrion. I'm still happy with the casting for both, though.
Sorry, I'm a woman over 40 now, but sometimes I get so into books (and their respective other outlets like this TV show), that I feel giddy as a teenage girl, lol
