Nowhere did I say I hadn't forgiven you, Cap'n. Cursing was my way of expressing displeasure with your post, it had nothing to do with anger or oversensitivity. People can curse to emphasize a point, y'know.
Nothing you have said is untrue, but was anything you said called for? Was there any reason to just start calling out religion and making it out to be a five-headed demon with six arms and bad breath? No and no. Jump up and down? I'm getting this way because you are using the actions of one ignorant man to justify belittling and disrespectful behavior toward an entire group. In a word, bigotry.
I am not offended on behalf of my religion by anyone but the man burning the Koran's. I am offended by you on behalf of me. You decide that, in your little world, this whole thing is Religion's* fault. You completely discount that this man is a singular entity with his own thoughts, and that his actions have nothing to do with anyone but him. Regardless, you decide to connect these actions with those of the whole of Religion, in order to make your point that 'Religion is soooo bad! >:C'
Oh, and as for people 'jumping on a bandwagon'? Perhaps some people have decided to hold this man accountable for his own actions, instead of blaming this so-called vague concept of 'Religion', apparently a tyrannical monster that scoops out people's brains and eats them for dinner every night.
Are you telling me that if you were the head of an atheist activists group, and the head of a Christian activists group came to you and suggested a united counter-protest against this man's actions, you would forego unity in favor of some foolish belief that 'Religion is baaaaad! I can't work together with Religiooooon!'? Again, in a word? Bigotry.
*We capitalize Religion from this point on to symbolize your apparent anthropomorphization of Religion into an entity or being.
tl;dr- All you're going to see is an angry CHristian ranting about something anyway, so fuck it. Stop blaming religion for the actions of an idiot.
