Yeah, jump scares are the worst part about scary movies. They're so cheap. You'd be hard pressed to offer me a quality one that doesn't completely take me out of the experience with its transparency. *music swell*=> *jump scare* or *music swell*=> *small animal/best friend*=> *breather/calm/silence*=> *jump scare* every time.
