This is what i have learned from my spiritual journey:
The God is beyond our mind.The Whole universe is made in two -the good and bad,light and darkness ,love and hate like that.What we can percieve in our mind falls into one of these two categories. But the God is Non-Dual and above this Dual existence.So we cannot directly percieve the Non-dual God beacause all that we think is in this dual-plane .
So one of the two things in the dual plane must lead us towards the God who created the universe .Either light or darkness,good or bad must lead us towards the creator and the masters have taught us to follow the path of light and do good things to others.Most of us know it because there is a light within us showing us the right path.That light inside is the natural morality which we know without reading any book from the childhood or learn it naturally from our mother .It's within us,We were created like that.But it is also possible to ignore the truth by creating an artificial veil and become a materialistic person.
You can deny the truth but you can't destroy it.
