Um, depending on how you're defining sexual maturity (I'm assuming you mean the end of puberty), it can vary greatly, but, it seems the average for the end of puberty is about 15 or 16. Then again, it can end as late as 25 years.
And, as it turns out, there's some evidence that puberty is actually starting younger and younger.
I did mean the end of puberty. Even if we're generous and say fifteen years of age, and getting younger, that's still nowhere near the ages nine or six (variant ages given for Aisha). But the keyword is 'getting younger', which means people in Muhammad's day went through puberty later than today.
