As for the other things, it should be obvious that it is a bigger deal to cut into someone's abdomen that to cut into someone's scrotum. A vasectomy is bandaid surgery, done on an outpatient basis. It is cheap, easy, and very safe.
The reason many men object is because many men are just sissies. Man up, and get a vasectomy, if you don't want to father any children.
And you totally missed my point. My point is that a man shouldnt have to get a vasectomy for birth control just as a woman shouldn't have to have her tubes tied. Good to know that you support gender equality though.
If the surgeries were equal, the burden would be equal. But the simple fact is, the surgeries are not equal. It is a cruel irony of nature that the surgery is less for a man, and the situation is worse for a woman if no birth control is used.
