This. The way I would react depends on the circumstances surrounding the baseball through the window. Did my child do something stupid, like knowingly stand too close to the house? Did he openly admit his mistake or did I have to find out for myself? Either way, he or she(I have both daughters and sons) is going to have to somehow pay back the cost of the window. I will not torture my child for an eternity if he or she refuses to acknowledge their guilt.
