Yeah, I've never thought about it. It never occurred to me that there may be some regrets, or what the regret might say about the initial gender feelings that led to the transition (which is what's really interesting to me). I was always more concerned with rooting for these people to find happiness and acceptance in the community, and never considered how they felt after the dust settles.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
