The reason that I believe in God and disbelieve in the Flying Spaghetti Monster is pretty simple to explain. The reason is because the Flying Spaghetti Monster is just a name which is commonly used by atheists to compare it with an all-powerful God.

Do you not understand satire? Do you not get intellectual humour? How they can all be used as constructive criticism and ridicule of your laughable absurd god concept?

You realize every other religion makes these claims about finding God too right? So why should I believe any of these contradictory conclusions to be privy to the truth of reality, let alone your specific theism - the product of bronze-age, illiterate, primitive, barbaric, sand-dwelling Jews?

Tell me when is the last time a Buddhist tried to convince you about spiritual things? A jew? Muslim? Hindu? African witch doctor? Maybe at some point in your life someone has (i know there are some muslims here) but 99 percent of the time its a Christian in your life reminding you again and again maybe not directly but their there and you hear it. Over and over again you have heard that you sir are in a desperate condition and NEED a savior. This sir is God trying to get your attention, believe it or not.

This sir, is you deploying a pathetic straw man argument about VOID by insinuating he has a "Desperate Dan condition" as opposed to treating him like a human being (an equal) by responding to his counterarguments instead of preaching your one-and-only life away.
