You are nitpicking and I can only demonstrate it by the fact that when most people refer to homosexuality they are also referring to the sexual acts that go along with it. Notice stimbos comments on why it doesn't seem fair that homosexuals must be celibate but not heterosexuals. You need to demonstrate that homosexuality is more based on a purely emotional level and not a sexual or physical level. If you're going to say that homosexuality can't be lumped in with "homosexual acts" If someone is attracted to the same sex but also believes in the Christian god, are they a homosexual if they shun the thoughts and resist the urges? I would say that they still are but they have a resolve to do what they believe is morally right.
