Children of the 1970's

My mother wouldn't let us eat them because she believed the urban legend that they would explode in our stomach. 

There was a toy called Klick Klack in the early 70ies. I don't know if it made it's way across the pond, since it was a German inventing it. But it was considered dangerous by some. There has been a story making the round about a child killing herself with it. My mother didn't let me have it, although, much like mobiles nowadays, everybody had it.

For me the decade started with this and ended with slime, if anybody remembers this. Don't know if this made it's way to America either.
