WELCOME
Thank you very much

This is the most easy going and respectful site on the net.
The simple trick is to be honest with yourself.
What the religios don't "get" is that all they have to say is "I believe in god" and you know what? What can we say? No arguments there.
It's when they get creative and try to distort "our" reality to suit "their" fantasy world where things get weird.
In all honesty, We all sound like broken records responding back to theists. How many possible ways can you reinvent and twist a story and try to sell it as a new concept? You will hear the word " fallacy" here quite a lot. We have the easy job... just being honest and using simple logic. I do feel for the theists sometimes though.
Thanks for the welcome, nice to see people from all over the world.
I agree with your 'broken record' statement, and also what you said about 'reinventing a story';
I like to offer this quote to theists, on that point:
" Study one religion, and you'll be hooked for life.
Study two religions, and you're done in an hour. "

I certainly respect your limits. Hopefully you've become comfortable in here, and will continue to be so.
I've never been to Calgary. Did you like it?
by DDO, do you refer to Dollard-des-Ormeaux? (part of montreal)

We have a few nutty theists who think 'jesus' is their special friend. I figure you'll spot them in no time!
thank you!

Don't worry about not posting a lot, or inactivity. I think most people here are spotty. For the most part, we have lives outside this forum.
thank you!

Oh, you already answered the question I just asked.
that's what I mean by my lack of navigational skills.
