I don't see a moral question here. The thread cited shows a bunch of idiots arguing that if it's artificial it's not god's way and therefore wrong. I wonder if they feel that way about oxygen tents, vaccines, and antibiotics, not to mention surgery of any kind.
But, I wouldn't want to have one of the first few test babies unless I was infertile. It doesn't seem to take much in the way of drug use or odd eating patterns to mess up a fetus. And it's not just nutrients but also hormones that arrive through the placenta. I suspect there will be early problems. Besides, I actually enjoyed being pregnant.
