Women are the primary backers of religions.  They like to suffer for their favorite deity.  All of the Catholic nuns think that they will spend eternity banging Jesus.    The Mormon women want to be some guy's termite queen and churn out enough babies to populate his world.  The muslim women think that they will be part of some super stud's harem in paradise.  If there was a religion with temple prostitutes the place would be stuffed to the rafters with hookers for the god.
