Most of the time when I get angry, it's directed toward the foul actions committed by some of the people who believe in him (Westboro Church, I'm looking at you).
But yes, I feel as though I can dislike him as written in the Bible and dislike what his character drives some individuals to do, while still saying he doesn't exist.
Just curious, I have noticed that when talking about the "horrible things" people of faith do, Islam is hardly ever brought up. Even though they are the worst in regards to doing bad things in the name of faith.
Don't get me wrong, the Westboros are vile and deserve all the criticism they can get. But if I were to talk about people influenced by their faith to do heinous things, the first thing that would come to mind is Isis, not the Westboros.
They're the ones out there making women wear burqas, continually killing men women and children simply for having a different faith ever since they first came into existence 1400 years ago, and having a particular hatred for Western societies.
The Westboros are bad, but at least they are a small group of 30 people who don't actually kill anyone. Isis is much worse.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
