Not that. Making broad statements about an entire group of people being evil and not allowing the possibility of being wrong does.
You in turn, remind me of a certain guy, whose name starts with A and ends with dolf Hitler.
First of all, I said "ex-fascist". Secondly, what I meant was that no widespread ideology can be eradicated completely in only 70 years. Merkel is part of the German government. The actions of the government and everything that any member of the government says reflect on the current image of the country and the rest of the world doesn't care which party rules at the given moment. That applies to any country. The ruling party has been elected by the nation, so whatever the party does, it means that nation agrees with the party because they're the ones who elected them as rulers. Which is why the actions or views of any member of the government or of the entire government are usually being generalized as views of the entire country. And don't forget that whatever the ruling party says, that's what the people do.
Poland gave its jews to Hitler and today nobody cares how many people of Poland were against this. That fact is always being generalized as "Poland gave the jews" and that's it.
If some day Bulgaria goes against its own LGBT people (like Russia did) all of you will say "Bulgaria this, Bulgaria that" and you all would generalize without even caring about how many Bulgarians oppose this law. May be then I should brand you all as "hateful bigots".
