Godschild, your reply is next. This is for Catfish.
I'm aware you don't believe Aeon to be an indefinite amount of time. Frankly, if that's the case then I don't really care. Any amount of time in torment is uncalled for by a benevolent creator--who, by the way, was described by the very same word therefore he's either not eternal or everything else is eternal . It's not my fault your bible was translated into the KJV and all other translations to mean eternal. I say that's your gods fault too for letting it stand as his direct communication to humanity (if he existed that is).
Romans 1
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Matthew 25
Verses describing Hell as a sulfery fiery torment
God can't be a god over non existential beings, dude. It's pretty clear he's describing there to be an afterlife, not that we die and cease to exist, but you believers get eternal life.
Revelations 14
9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
Jeremiah states,
"`How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?' (From the NIV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)
Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (Rev 19:5-10)
...and yet when Jesus comes back he does not correct this faux pas?

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
