Even if the bible wasn't as contradictory as it is, it would still be full of shit

the little nitpicked passages that contradict themselves are important to me, because I used to believe the bible was the word of god, the ultimate truth, an absolutely infallible book. I was coerced into unreasonable respect for it, and looking at the small, obviously human mistakes inside it helps me (personally) overcome that fear and see it for the manmade Frankenstein's monster of a silly book that it is

I get what you're saying, but biblical contradictions are helpful in the process of deconverting.....well at least they are to me

I like to capitalize Atheist and not capitalize god.
