Welcome. Got a question for you.

When Asperger's was dropped as a separate diagnosis in the DSM-V several people around me (primarily parents) became quite upset. As near as I can figure they didn't want their child linked to "autism" as it carries a greater negative stereotype.

Your thoughts? Don't feel compelled to respond.
