Just as an aside, Ray Kuzweil is an idiot and the singularity, if it ever happens, will NOT happen in 2045. At least not for the reasons that people like Ray Kuzweil and other media scientists like Kevin Warwick claim. Their calculation is based on Moore's law continuing and that one neuron is the equivalent of one byte.

But getting back to the OP, if anyone's going to be their god then it will be us. Much like we are worshipped by dogs.
