Jumping to stupid conclusions, like ignoring the part where I said I disagree with him about any censorship on the internet. That disagreement doesn't mean I have to strawman everything Trump says to dislike him.

I think there is a problem that is particularly endemic to this forum where if you don't believe everything negative about someone who people dislike politically, no matter how untrue or fallicious the statements might be, you are supporting them. It's extra-ironic considering that most people would probably consider themselves skeptics on here, but lack all skepticism when it comes to stuff like this.

No, you're right. I just wanted to point out that going in the other extreme is also very silly. The guy is a clown. He's a political caricature. In fact, all of the political cartoons of him are just actual photos of him with a quote of his at the bottom. There's no point in exercising caution and skepticism when approaching an article on him. If the article seems silly, take it at face value, have a laugh, throw it on the mountain, and move on. Unless you'd like to sift through all of his ridiculous quotes to see which ones he really said and which are just his reputation preceding him.
