"Bad" is subjective and vague, so no, it can't be logically said to be bad until you've defined what "bad" means.
I agree it is unhealthy. However, I expect all emotions have their place. It's probably your body urging you to do something about your situation. But of course, now we're beyond mere survival, it's best to make decisions when calm.
Personally, I've harboured hatred for a very long time regarding certain things, and therapy helped me let go of it. I was much better for it. Since there was no practical action I could take, the hatred wasn't serving any purpose. All I could do was examine and adjust my attitudes.
