My uncle and his family have a house down in inland Florida. My cousin told me hurricane Irma was coming right toward them when at the last minute it changed course and veered off to the gulf.
I know this is the kind of story my mother would love to hear other Christians tell, but I wondered how she'd take it if she knew they were down there praising Allah.

The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
