Then why aren't Catholic priests llowed to marry? Are they supposed to have a relationship only with God? Also, Christianity preaches that you should be ashamed of sex. If they wanted people to reproduce why would they make them fear reproduction?
Is it because homosexuals are a minority, and humans naturally despise who isn't following the herd? Does religion preach against homosexuality so that it could attract the majority?
Homosexual actions. Because we believe sex is meant as a self giving act between one man and one woman who are married. Having sex outside of this context is contrary to our beliefs on sexual morality.
I'm not sure what you are talking about when you say Christianity teaches us to be ashamed of sex lol. I'm certainly not. I think people (in and out of the church) confuse the notion of keeping sex sacred with being ashamed of it.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
