Jesus was an OT example of a blood sacrifice His conenant "christianity" did not happen until after his resurrection and ascension back into heaven the exact pin point would be acts 2 :38 when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the people. So from this start of 'christianity' till the projected end in revelation there is no call for human sacrifice. do you understand now or do i need to make it more simple for you?(September 4, 2018 at 3:11 pm)Drich Wrote: anything there is not scriptural president for killing anyone in the name of God..Incoherent.

So? Christ boils all of the law down to 2 commands. that is all we have as Christians. OT jews, the unsaved and those new to chirst live under the old law. The redeemed are expected to Love God with all of our being and our neighbors as our selves! if we can honestly do this the law is full filled.

If however if you want a murderous answer you must change the rules of the religion to resemble something like the agreement God had with abraham as that was a personal agreement and not even a jewish thing.
Quote:Sure. "christ" died but didn't and he knew it beforehand. Some sacrifice.
If you jump on a live grenade to save your buddies, you know before hand you are going to die horribly correct? is it any less of a sacrifice if you did it without thinking or if you made the decision before hand?
plus you missed the point I made here. it was not about christ dying it was about after christ died no other deaths were required from God, so then to ask would you kill your son if God askes, we know God would never ask a christian to do that.
