I kid you not, I was a dishwasher at a breakfast place. One day the boss's son brought me a pot of biscuit gravy. He put it down in the same spot where it was normal for wait staff to dump discarded food everyone expected to be dumped. I don't know why to this day he put that food in front of me. He shouted at me about the lost potential profits. All I could think was, "how the fuck was I supposed to know"?
It isn't about rights for me, and most of the sane. It is about letting one industry dictate laws to protect profits.
