Frankly, I don't even dispute the fact that Australia handled it well enough that more people will likely end up dying from suicide than COVID. The thing is, frankly, I'd rather defer to the wisdom of those who are studying the virus and its effects before demanding the end of lockdowns. I live in Illinois, and we recently ended our lockdown and I'm currently waiting and seeing if there's a big spike in new cases like has been happening in quite a few states prior before trying to resume my normal activities. And for what it's worth, Australia seems to be slowly reopening.
