I only mentioned Barack Obama because his election was a TRIUMPH against racism, I remember living and breathing that beautiful symbolic victory when it happened at the time in the UK, celebrating wildly with friends because of that element, and he was elected for a second term too! I know he wasn't perfect, very far from it in several ways even, but Obamacare was a good step and, well, he didn't have a huge majority etc...America ain't all racist, far from it, read me there at least.
