It’s still pretty slow, though. Just one character per minute. That means it would take him four minutes to simply say “beer.” More complex words would take even longer. A full sentence could take an hour.
But, yeah, there’s some amazing potential here. I can’t wait to see what this technology leads to in 10 or 20 years. Hell, imagine in a hundred years where people who would otherwise be paralyzed are instead fully mobile due to a system of motorized implants throughout their bodies and a brain implant to operate it.
