Not my Pleiades. It has one feature that stops me cold in my tracks every time I try to image it with my newtonian scope. The main stars are so bright that the diffraction spikes (which are common with newtonian scopes) overwhelm the image and turn it into a spaghetti mess. It is best imaged with a refractor, though I do have access to the clubs' imaging refractor. I might try that next winter (if no one finds out because I refuse to use their so-caled professional camera, which really is crap). On another note. I just got back from the observatory and managed to image Messier 51, the Whirlpool Galaxy (which is actually two galaxies in the process of merging). I will post the image in new thread.
