One of my biggest disappointments was the Spawn movie. They watered down a decidedly adult graphic novel for a broader audience and a PG-13 rating, but instead of appealing to more people, all they did was piss off the hardcore fans of the comic who would have helped the film garnish big revenue if it had stayed loyal to the source material.

Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
