There's an unofficial rule to this forum and pretty much every forum out there: get into good enough standing, show the moderators that you're productive and you wind up getting more leeway with stuff like that. Newbies get a really short leash and get smacked with the ban hammer pretty damn quick. Yep, if you have a few thousand productive posts first, I have to guess that the moderators would have been willing to let you create a sock puppet account, tooI doubt it. You forget one factor - beliefs in the board mainstream. I doubt that a Christian fitting your criteria would have been allowed to make an atheist Poe sock puppet.
Yep. Atheists get more leeway on atheist forums. Just like Christians get to do things their way on Christian forums (In fact, isn't there a Christian forum out there that specifically bans atheists from posting anywhere but a sub forum specifically designated for atheists?). That's just the way things work. If you don't like it, you're more than welcome to go buy a site and start your own forum where you can moderate it however you want.
