Some atheists.

On average, they're average.

Or like they crave salty, fatty, sweet foods and have numerous attractive diversions that don't require exercise.

In fact they're so unaware that they try "fad diets" with no concept as to why it would or wouldn't work. They say that they want to lose weight - but don't even bother to make the easy small changes to their eating habits that would guarantee it!!
Addictions can be hard to kick. Unlike other addictions, people who have issues with food still have to keep eating it.

So seriously, how is it that people are so, so dumb??
I assume you're trying to make fun of some atheists who take this approach to making fun of religious people, but it comes off as a comparison between being religious and being fat, and not a bad one at that: A misfiring of natural impulses that may once have given people with them an advantage over their competitors in the world we evolved in and is perfectly understandable in that context but which is useless or even an actual hindrance in the modern developed world.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
