I would add to SteelCurain's excellent advice that you Google Legal Aide in your area. You might actually qualify for a free lawyer. In many states Legal Aide does divorces and land lord and tenant disputes with some regularity. If not, they may be able to direct you to an affordable attorney. Should that fail, state bar associations often keep lists of young and cheap attorneys.
