There were lots of nuts on the ground around the pecan tree just inside the cemetery, so Bill and Bon decided to climb the fence and gather them. It wasn’t easy because there was a hedge between the fence and the tree. Still they put all the nuts together in a pile. To make things fair they used a one for me, one for you method. While they were counting, two nuts rolled under the hedge but they decided not to stop until they’d divided up the rest of the nuts. Presently, Tommy came walking by the cemetery and heard them but did not see them on the other side of the hedge.
Bob: One for me. One for you.
Tommy ran back to town in a panic and grabbed his uncle Ned.
Tommy: Uncle Ned! Come quick! Jesus and the devil are down in the cemetery dividing souls! I heard them! I heard them!
So Tommy and Ned went down and listened as Bob divided the pecans. Bob and Billy finished up the pile and turned their attention to the ones that had rolled off.
Bob: Now let’s get those two nuts over by the hedge.
Tommy and Ned hauled ass.

The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
