In portuguese:
Time is tempo (like italian)
Day is dia (like your dialect, a bit)
little is pequeno, but you can further shrink the thing you're talking about with a suffix and it becomes pequenino (tiny), or even further becoming pequenininho (very tiny). notice something like your p'ccnunn in there? (oh, we use 'que' for the same sound where italians use 'che')
