Has anyone on this forum given any thought as to the kind of evidence which would convince you that god exists?
Sure I'd settle for anything at all evidence like, other than personal testimonials whether current or ancient. Quoting of writing assumed to be the word of god is likewise unimpressive.

Atheists from my experience don't take into consideration that the proof maybe inside of them and all they have to do is reflect over it. They've already decided it must be by empirical evidence or proven by a logical argument.
And I've always taken love and goodness as signs that love and goodness are real responses in me to things I experience in life. I don't put much stock in "essences", "the nature of things people deem spiritual' or "higher realities". Those just seem like misuses of language, a brain buzzing around in a bottle.

Our perpetual identity for one. The different types of love we have and the relationships we form on it is another.
Why do you look for real experiences to fill the nonsense category of the supernatural? There is absolutely nothing you identify in the world or your experience of it which is 'obviously' beyond the natural. More likely you just need to enlarge your understanding of what is natural. It is a silly category.
