Theists - how certain are you that a God exists?
RE: Theists - how certain are you that a God exists?

There is only one God.  Atheist like to play the many gods game.  God is called by many names but there is only one.  It is our fault that the many names used to call upon God is seen as different gods, which in actually is not true and causes friction among the religions.

Science can only measure the physical things and tell how they work, however, it completely lacks the ability to answer why.  Why did the universe happen at all?  The probability is low that we should not even be here.  How did it come about? Big Bang!!  Well what caused the big bang?  There are theories, but for now let us fill the gap with what atheists would say, "nothing", and when you die you go back to "nothing".

A more sound reason to explain this complex physical realm with all its enigma is that God creates, sustains, and destroys this physical realm.  We see these as good and bad, and that is what is keeping us bounded to this realm.  Life (and other physical things) will be created, survive and be gone.  This physical world is never meant to be forever.  We are just travelers in temporary physical bodies whose sole purpose is to release ourselves from our own transgressions.

All the twisting atheist try to do in removing God is futile.  They try use the divide and conquer technique to confuse religious groups by asking them "Who would get salvation? Is it only for christians and not muslims?"  So this puts a doubt in a religious person.  The real answer is everyone and anyone who wants to free oneself from this physical realm can do so.

God has given humans the ability to freely obtain salvation.  That salvation is not limited to any region or race, nor dependent on any ritual or religion.  God is not christian, jewish, muslim, hindu, buddhist, etc.  God is not female or male.  God reside in the realm beyond this physical universe (and all other physical realms), above the finite and infinite, not bounded by anything.  Though we don't realize this, it is our choice to reside in this realm.  Here is where we find duality, positive and negative, etc.  If one affirms to move away from the duality, it will begin a path for spiritual awakening at which point the ego (I, me, my) will be removed.  In God's realm there is no I (no ego, only tranquility).

Just in case you thought I forgot about the animals, they also obtain salvation.  The only difference, they don't need to work as hard as we do to get it.

So what does God do to an atheist after death?  God grants them their wish of becoming nothing and therefore they obtain salvation of becoming nothing.

So would an atheist be convinced?  Probably not, because they are too damn lazy, that is why "nothing" will happen for them.  And when they become "nothing" no one will remember them either.

Ktrap, as a fellow theist I have to say  Disappointed

You assume to know far too much than you can logically defend.  You believe those things, but that is different.  You most certainly say you believe "beyond reasonable doubt" which is as close as we can get to knowing with certainty.

Aside from that, to broadly paint those that hold an atheistic worldview is completely unreasonable.  I think most who hold an atheistic worldview are quite the opposite of "too damned lazy" and have done a great deal of questioning leading them to their belief.  Then to further assert that you know what God will do with them is to assume you have knowledge on par or greater than God.  My friend, I will not admonish your beliefs, but at the same time do not admonish others for theirs.  Instead look to have meaningful discourse with them and engage to understand better their positions and be willing to defend your own.  You will find that most are very reasonable and respectful.
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.
