Got to agree here. First hand experience would probably challenge the whole "lusty thoughts are the same as rape" concept. wouldn't one feel espescialy horified to know that the guy/or gal that just thought of you in a sexual fashion and then walked on would burn in the same place in hell as would a guy/gal that forced unwanted sex upon you. let's just stop for a moment and understand the difference in the kind of damage these two acts do to a person....
lusty thought =0 damage
rape = life time of damage.
If the god of Abraham (Jewish,Muslum,Christian) sees these two as the same then i truly feel most humans can claim better moral values than this god.
The Judeao, christian way is useless in promoting moral values as compared to what we mere humans can do by ourselves.
So for the original aurgument: if you love someone and they love you then love each other no matter what the genders may be. As they say "love conquers all" including the skewed morals of the make believe parent.
