This poses so many questions..
How do you 'know' this is true?
What kind of sacrifice is it for an immortal being whom is both omnipotent and omniscient and omnipresent to send his son (whatever that means, certainly not son in the way we understand the term) whom he knows will lead a certain life and then be sacrificed only to be brought back to life and ascend into paradise? That's not a sacrifice is it? I mean, what's he sacrificing when everything that happens is supposedly already planned out to the most intricate detail?
And anyway, I thought that Christ WAS God, not his son. So what kind of sacrifice is it to incarnate yourself as a human knowing full well that you cannot die?
And for what purpose was this done? To show us that he loves us? Makes no sense at all!!
Quote:Interesting thing also: we cannot create bacteria. We humans cannot create life. That is a main proof for most christians i know, is that there is no observable life outside of Earth and we still dont know how life happened.
We cannot create life (Getting pretty close)
We do not yet know how it arose. (Neither do you!)
And we have yet to observe it outside this planet. (Not yet)
But.. So what!
