Do you have room for an herb garden, even in pots? We started a small herb garden this year and no longer have to buy any fresh herbs, we just go out and cut them as we need them. Fresh herbs are definitely a great way to make food awesome.
I do grow basil, it grows well on the kitchen windowsill, but there is no room for anything else. I buy fresh Thyme, and use everything else dried, really, which is still yummy.
When we move, I hope there is more room for an herb garden! And even a little veggie patch. Someday......
