Yes, at least it's our take on it.
50/50 ground beef and ground lamb. Use the good stuff. Minced garlic and onion. Chopped parsley. Salt. Ground coriander, cumin, black pepper, cayenne, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger.
This is the basic recipe we used.
It's really good on pita with the usual tomato and onion, tzatziki, feta, et al and even on my diet Imma have seconds.
