Attempting a chicken tikka masala with mixed veggies in my crockpot, as per this recipe.
Many things different, though. I accidentally bought crushed tomatoes rather than tomato puree (I think this might actually work better, though).
I don't tolerate heavy cream so well, so I used almond milk. I also didn't use cornstartch. Seemed too artificial. It's thick enough as it is, thankfully.
I ran out of cinnamon, apparently.
I used onion flakes and garlic powder, for convenience.
Not into bay leaves.
Added a frozen veggie medley with carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and maybe some other things.
All in all, not fixing to be a disaster.
