Look through TSQ's glasses. See how the contour of her face is smaller there than without glasses. That happens for shortsighted people... the opposite happens with reading glasses.
In the movies, you'll often see no such distortion, telling us that there are either no lenses on the frames, or they're just plain sheets of glass which do nothing to the image.
