Yeah - my kid managed to point that out to me
She said that the "cup" portions, is basically a substitution for a letter since I had to solve for that.
Still.... I saw that as a math problem in word form, not in algebra form. I'm a visual learner. It's easier for me if there's an actual visual reference to use not just a letter representing the unknown.
