So, thousands of Americans are dying from a new virus on a daily basis. Hundreds of thousands more are infected. Healthcare workers don't have the supplies they need to save lives. And millions are without work. So there's a lot of problems that need to be dealt with.
And he's tweeting about the ratings of his press conferences.
He gets upset, sure; he gets really pissed when someone points out something he did wrong or something he should have done differently. He doesn't try to fix those problems, he tries to fix the spin about them.
Seems to me he's more worried about his own reputation than he is saving lives or even saving the economic well being of millions of Americans.
This is called narcissism.
The most frightening part of it? His followers are going like they always do. They're telling us all how Covid-19 is some conspiracy theory. They're laughing about "triggered liberals" when we're upset about the tremendous loss of life or the economic destruction. They trust Alex Jones and Stephen Crowder more than they do scientific authorities or statistics or legitimate journalism. And, yeah, there are Trumpanzees out there who are insisting that praising god and going to church will cure the virus. So they're packing churches, praying like there's no tomorrow, and pretending that the almighty will save them from the virus.
In a horrible kind of way, I wish their disregard to a very serious health concern would kill lots of them. Less conservative voters in November will prevent them from voting for morons in the future. Unfortunately, it won't work that way. They'll be killed in roughly the same proportions as non-idiot voters.
