Momentum has poisoned the well and caused the rift with the traditional Labour voters in the Northern cities.
Corbyn may have gone, but Starmer isn't going to do what needs to be done to reconnect.
He'll almost certainly try to find a middle ground (ie; the platform he was elected on) which simply doesn't exist and is thus doomed to failure.
Maybe he'll be ousted after the next election, but there'll still be a mountain to climb and the party can't do that till at least the next leader.
