Does anyone find it odd that some of the facts reported does not add up? Was the hotel security staff just asleep at the monitors, or just not paying close enough attention? I know the conspiracy people are jumping all over this one, but some of what is out there does make sense. I happen to know people who work hotel security and the software used is pretty state of the art. How does one get twenty three pieces of luggage through without being noticed in the short time span he had to work with. There are too many unanswered questions, the victims and their familiars deserve answers on how this was allowed to happen.
Nevada really needs to look at it's gun laws, and change them, this state allows no restrictions on fully automatic fire arms and openly sells assault grade weapons. It's time to stop the power of the NRA and stop making these types of weapons for sale to the public. This could of been prevented if major hotels had metal detectors in place, instead of letting people move about as they see fit without question. maybe time to develop better security software that would of alerted the large volume of luggage he had. I hope this is a wake up call for the nation to realize that guns are becoming a major problem production of these assault grade weapons needs to slowed down. This would drive the price up on them, making them more costly to purchase.
