This seems to be a reasonable conclusion but in fact many Moslems are waiting for another leader.

A few excerpts from this page:

"The Mahdi will establish right and justice in the world and eliminate evil and corruption. He will fight against the enemies of the Muslims who would be victorious."

"He will lead Muslims in many battles of jihad...Many battles will ensue between Muslims and the disbelievers during the Mahdi’s reign…The Mahdi will invade all the places between East and West."

End-times? Sounds like fun times to me. Except for this part:

"Al Mahdi appears, everyone only talks about Him, drinks the love of Him, and never talks about anything other than Him."

I'm not drinkin' that.

The author of the article also says "Jews are waiting for the Messiah, Christians are waiting for Jesus, and Muslims are waiting for both the Mahdi and Jesus. All religions describe them as men coming to save the world."

And they will all wait until hell freezes over before any one of these fuckers shows up.
