I agree with Richard Dawkins who says that as soon as you start debating creationists you give them an equal platform as if somehow they have a valid argument that demands to be heard on equal footing with evolution and geology etc. when clearly the whole notion of creationism is nonsense.

This is the reason why I have given this particular thread a pretty wide berth as the more you debate them the more they come back at you with even more preposterous pseudo science and given that the vast majority of the Christian world now fully accepts evolution I think it's a subject that is to be vigorously and actively ignored wherever possible.
